Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules for using Add Pasteboard, addpaste.com, its API, paste pages, uploads, dashboards, analytics, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for your credentials, account activity, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. We may require verification, limit registrations, or reject accounts to protect the service.

2. Service Description and Changes

Add Pasteboard provides text-paste creation, public and private sharing, password protection, file uploads for eligible accounts, expiration, viewing, account management, moderation, analytics, and related functionality. Features, limits, availability, pricing, advertising, and technical requirements may change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You must not use the service to create, distribute, promote, store, upload, or facilitate:

• Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, infringing, dangerous, or malicious activity.
• Malware, phishing, credential theft, unwanted software, or security circumvention.
• Spam, unsolicited messaging, impersonation, harassment, or abusive content.
• Sexually exploitative content, content involving minors, or other unlawful material.
• Content or destinations that violate third-party rights, advertising policies, or applicable law.
• Automated abuse, denial-of-service activity, scraping, or attempts to evade service limits.
• Artificial, fraudulent, or incentivized advertising impressions, clicks, or engagement.

4. Pastes, Uploads, and User Content

You are responsible for paste content, files, links, notes, and other information you submit. You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit and use that content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, scan, display, transmit, and otherwise use submitted content as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service.

Deletion and expiration remove content from normal public access but use a soft-delete retention model. We may preserve, scan, block, disable, expire, restrict, or remove records when reasonably necessary for moderation, security, legal, operational, policy, or reputational reasons.

5. Analytics and Future Advertising

The service may use privacy-conscious aggregate analytics. It does not currently display advertising. If advertising is added later, you must not generate or encourage artificial impressions, clicks, or engagement or otherwise interfere with its measurement or delivery.

6. Intellectual Property

The service, software, branding, design, and original content are owned by Add Pasteboard or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

7. Third-Party Services and Content

The service may depend on or link to third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, products, policies, or practices. Accessing third-party content from a paste is at your own risk.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how information may be collected, used, disclosed, and retained.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may investigate activity and suspend, restrict, or terminate access without prior notice when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements, service limits, policy violations, invalid advertising traffic, or harm to third parties.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, and uninterrupted operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Add Pasteboard and its affiliates, operators, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, advertising income, or business opportunity arising from the service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Add Pasteboard, its affiliates, operators, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, uploads, destinations, use of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of another party's rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, disputes will be submitted to the courts of Singapore.

14. General Terms

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign them without our consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
